What does PsalmOneFifty.com mean? Psalms were ancient songs, written by King David and others from the Hebrew Old Testament. The name is derived from Chapter 150 of Psalms from the Holy Bible. It reads:
"Praise ye the Lord, Praise God in His sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every things that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD." Psalm 150; Holy Bible KJV.
PsalmOneFifty.com has 3 basic facets that you can access at anytime.
1) Our publishing side carries both Christian and normal Commercial music offerings.
a) In the Christian realm, although we carry some large ensemble arrangements, we specialize in arrangements suited for smaller churches. The reason we do this, is because we believe that God can be found in all His churches, every Sunday and throughout the week: Mega, Large, Medium, and Small. Just because your church doesn't have a mega-budget, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be able to access wonderful praise-worthy music on a regular basis.
